The medicine neutralizes hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, it has also protective and astringent effect.
Aluminium phosphate contained in the preparation protects oesophagus, gastric and duodenum mucous membrane by creating a protective layer. Suspension form of the medicine facilitates to spread it evenly on the mucous membrane, and thereby helps in its healing. Aluminium chloride formed as a result of neutralization reaction has astringent and anti-inflammatory effect. Peppermint oil additive provides antispasmodic effect and helps with digestion.
Indications:
– chronic gastric and duodenal ulcer disease (as adjuvant or relieving agent in the case of complaints),
– gastric hyperacidity,
– gastroesophageal reflux,
– pyrosis.
